Publication Ethic

JISRev upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and is committed to ensuring the integrity of the academic record. The journal adheres to the ethical guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—to follow these principles.

Responsibilities of Authors:
Authors must ensure that their work is original, properly cited, and free from plagiarism. They are responsible for providing accurate data, acknowledging sources, and disclosing any potential conflicts of interest. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals concurrently is considered unethical and unacceptable. All authors listed must have made a significant contribution to the research.

Responsibilities of Editors:
Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased publication decisions based solely on the academic merit of the manuscripts and their relevance to the journal’s scope. Editors must ensure confidentiality during the review process and must not use unpublished material for their own research without the author's consent.

Responsibilities of Reviewers:
Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the review process and provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback. They should refrain from reviewing manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest and must report any ethical concerns or suspected misconduct to the editors.

Plagiarism and Research Misconduct:
All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening. Any form of academic misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or improper authorship credit, will result in immediate rejection or retraction of the published article.
