All manuscripts submitted to JISRev undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of the published work. Upon submission, each manuscript is first evaluated by the editorial team to determine its relevance to the journal’s scope and its adherence to submission guidelines. Manuscripts that meet these initial criteria are then subjected to a double-blind peer review, in which both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other.
At least two independent reviewers, who are experts in the relevant field, are assigned to assess the manuscript. They evaluate its scholarly contribution, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, and significance of findings. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial team decides whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected.
Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to the reviewers’ feedback. Revised submissions are re-evaluated to ensure that all concerns have been adequately addressed. The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on the reviewers’ evaluations and the overall quality of the manuscript.
