Archiving

JISRev is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. To safeguard the integrity and availability of its scholarly record, the journal implements the following archiving strategies:

  • Digital Preservation: All articles published in JISRev are archived in trusted digital repositories to guarantee long-term accessibility, even in the event of website failure or journal discontinuation.

  • Institutional Repositories: Authors are encouraged to deposit a copy of their published articles in institutional or subject-based repositories, in accordance with the journal’s open access policy and the terms of the Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0).

  • Indexing and Archiving Services: JISRev collaborates with recognized indexing databases and digital archiving services (e.g., LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, or national library archives) to ensure permanent preservation.

  • Self-Archiving: Authors retain the right to self-archive the final published version of their article on personal websites, institutional repositories, or scholarly networks, provided proper citation to the original source is maintained.
