Review Process

Jurnal Ilmiah Ksyatria: Journal of Religious and Social Studies, adheres to a Double-Blind Review process that is fast, fair, and also ensures the quality of published articles. Through the Double-Blind Review system, neither the reviewers nor the authors are identified. Manuscripts submitted to this journal will go through a peer review process. If your manuscript is potentially suitable for Jurnal Ilmiah Ksyatria, after passing the editor's initial screening, the editor will send your manuscript to reviewers. All manuscripts will be reviewed by a minimum of 2 (two) experts with a “Double-Blind Review” system (the identity of the reviewers and authors are kept confidential). The review process can take 1-4 months. Articles accepted with minor or major revisions must be revised according to the comments and suggestions of the reviewers. The reviewers will then submit their report on the manuscript along with their recommendation on one of the following actions to the editor:
Accept the manuscript;
Revision Required;
Resubmit for Review;
Resubmit Elsewhere;
Reject Submission.

Decisions on acceptance for publication, revision, or rejection will be made by the Editor in accordance with the comments or recommendations of the reviewers. In certain cases, if required, the editor may send the manuscript to another reviewer for review (Second Round), before making a decision. Publication of accepted manuscripts including the order of published manuscripts will be done by the Editor-in-Chief taking into account the order of receipt date and geographical distribution of authors as well as thematic issues. It usually takes about 3 months to 1 year from submission to publication, with an average of 6 months.
